Blasters Program
Woolworth's Cricket Blast is an action-packed program for kids between the ages of 5 & 9 of all abilities who want to learn the basic skills of cricket in a fun and friendly environment.
This season the Blaster Program has been split into three groups - Starter and Progression (previously Junior Blasters) and Match Day (previously Master Blasters)
We recommend 4, 5 & 6 year olds register in the Starter or Progression Groups. These groups are for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities and drills. The stronger 6 year olds, as well as 7 & 8 year olds should register in the Match Day Group. The participants are placed in teams and play modified games of cricket. Register individually or find another 5 or 6 mates and enter a team! All the equipment is supplied
Starter and Progression Groups
These groups are for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities.
The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills.
When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Match Day where they can play modified games of cricket.
All the equipment is supplied and the program is run at Erina Oval from 9.15am each Saturday morning.
Program Cost is $120.
Features:

For boys and girls learning the basic skills of the game (approx. age 4-7).

16 sessions with each session lasting 60 minutes.

Program starts October 7, 2023, concludes March 2, 2024 with a 5 week break over Christmas.

All participants receive a Cricket Blast shirt, cap, bat and ball.

It's safe - we use plastic bats and a rubber ball.

Match Day Group
Match Day Blast is a fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls. It is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games are played at Erina Oval from 9.00am each Saturday morning.
