Our Philosophy

The Club's philosophy has been to focus on developing the children's cricket skills and love for this challenging game making sure everyone gets a fair go and can really enjoy their cricket no matter what level you are.

  • Note that most under 13 and under 15 competitions are graded. As such our teams are also graded with players selected based on ability. This particularly applies to "A" competitions.
  • We have a little more flexibility with "B" and "C" competitions and aim to keep friends together where possible. As a club, we believe it is important that children play in the most appropriate competition for their ability.
  • Note that the Central Coast Cricket Association ultimately decides what format different divisions play. For example, if there are sufficient teams in the under 13's to form a "C" competition the CCCA may decide to adopt stage one rules for that competition if it feels that it is appropriate.

Grading

  • Following online registration, our grading days will commence
  • There will be two grading days for each age group at Erinal Oval Nets
  • Grading days will again be run by a selection committee comprising of players and officials from our senior club, with input from junior coaches. We will grade an under 11A, 13A, 15A and MYL team
  • All players must be registered to attend grading.
